Two fillies making big contributions to his success have been together almost since birth. Longtime friends Runnning Brook Gal and Brooks Midnight are still together at the Paul Jones barn on Ruidoso Downs's backside. The pair of black fillies are set to compete in the All American Futurity trials on Thursday. The nearly identical daughters of Brookstone Bay were raised together in the same Roosevelt, Utah pasture and have stayed together throughout their training careers. Rainbow Futurity(G1) runner-up Runnning Brook Gal is the only horse to qualify for both the Ruidoso and Rainbow futurities. Brooks Midnight also qualified for the Rainbow Futurity(G1). Runnning Brook Gal is out of the Runaway Winner mare, Rjk Runaway and is owned by Albert and Chad Richard. Brooks Midnight is owned by Chad Richard and she is out of the Rare Form mare Annie's Form. Brookstone Bay has sired six winners from 15 starters, earners of $251,114, an average of $16,741 per starters. He has one stakes winner and three stakes-placed runners including restricted grade 2 stakes winner and recent Sam Houston Futurity(G1) qualifier Ivansbay; Jaguar Rocket Stakes third place finisher Shawne Bay; and Northlands Futurity(G3) third place finisher Babblin Brook. Brookstone Bay is currenlty the #4 Leading First Crop Sire by Money Earners in the nation. The stakes winning and multiple grade 1 stakes-placed son of First Down Dash won or placed in 14 of 21 career starts and earned $184,770. Brookstone Bay is co-owned by Chad Richard and James E.
